Former AU ambassador to Washington, Dr. Arikana Chihombori-Quao has called out the Chinese government over abuses being faced by Blacks in China.
Over the past few weeks, reports have been rife from Africans in Guangzhou in China lamenting the unfair discrimination of Blacks. Authorities have forced Africans from their homes onto the streets and have separated Africans who are married to Chinese citizens from their families.
Dr. Arikana in her video message directed at the president of China Xi Jinping, asked him to step his foot down and stamp the dastardly act being perpetrated against blacks in his country.
She went on to ask him to consider that there are over 10million Chinese citizens in Africa and we have welcomed them with open arms, it was therefore only fair that Africans are received with same warm welcome in China.
