2nd Lady Samira Bawumia honoured in Cote D’ Ivoire for empowering women

On Saturday, October 19, 2019, Second Lady Samira Bawumia was honored at the 9th Edition of the 2019 African Fashion and Modeling Awards, in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

The award was a recognition of her efforts in the empowerment of women and the youth, promotion of creative arts, as well as vocational and skills training.

While there, She also Commissioned a Professional School for Fashion Trades and Modeling with H.E Kandia Camara, Minister for National Education, Vocational, Technical and Professional Training of the Republic of Côte D’Ivoire.

She also paid a courtesy call on H.E Clarisse Duncan, the Second Lady of the Republic of Côte D’ Ivoire.
